Friends Forever Photoshoot | Minnesota Fine Art Portrait Photographer

“A good friend is hard to find…they are like rare jewels, hidden among many, and sparkling beyond compare. A lifelong friend is even harder to find, they are like the diamonds you search your whole life for.” -Unknown

This was an incredibly special shoot, because it represented many, many years of friendship! These beautiful ladies have been friends since middle school, shared memories as college roommates, and are celebrating this season of life when they are getting ready to move forward with their lives and careers. One is already married, and another is preparing for her wedding! This was a chance to capture a snapshot in time, and the beauty of their twenties.

Best friends sessions are growing in popularity among my clients. They are such a wonderful way to preserve a time or a season in your life that may not fit a “traditional milestone” like the birth of a baby or an engagement. Instead, they are a way to commemorate the people who are such an integral part of your life…your friends! For this dreamy, on-location session, we went for a bohemian feel with lots of tulle, neutral tones, and the perfect little flower crowns. These girls were armed with perpetual smiles and tons of laughter, and we had a great day together! I wish them all the best in their new endeavors, and hope they will love having these to look back on in years to come!
