I have known Hope since she was 5 and I can’t beleive that she is going to graduate in May! I had the privilege of photographing her senior portraits today. Here is a sneak peak, they aren’t even done downloading yet.

My favorites are newborn, 6-8 months and 1 year. They grow out of the newborn baby phase so quickly, so make sure to come in at 2-4 weeks. Then there’s the 6-8 month stage, they can hold their head up, smile, sit up on their own and they can’t walk away yet.  Six to eight months is also a precious time that you won’t want to miss. The 1 year portrait is such a milestone, you’ll want to hire a professional for that age too. Byerly’s even gives the 1 year old a free cake. These cakes are the perfect size to bring tot the studio for the cake smashing portrait at the end of the session. You’ll want these stages to be captured forever in portraits. Babies really do grow up so fast!!!

What is  the best age to have newborn baby’s portraits done? Two weeks old is ideal. They are still sleeping a lot, they don’t wake easily, and they are still curled up in an adorable little ball. The newborn stage is definitley something you’ll want to capture forever and they aren’t in this stage very long. Don’t miss it, call and schedule your newborn portrait session now.
